Simply because there is no reason to. If you are planning to go into a crowded area such as Times Square, it may be beneficial to wear a respirator. If you're just going to the store, there is absolutely no need to.Since swine flu is now in my state, why aren't news stations advising us to wear masks?
people don't really need to worry about swine flu. here in California 2 kids got it last week and there already cured. the only reason you should be worried is if you have a weak immune system such as the elderly or toddlers. which i hope you don't but other wise don't take any stress about stuff like this because more people die of a regular flu than the swine.Since swine flu is now in my state, why aren't news stations advising us to wear masks?
because states are really big (cept for rhode island) and they wouldn't say that unless there are lots of cases in your city.
