How do you get grey masking tape off your walls after taking the plastic down?

i took down the plastic off my walls and the grey tape left marks that i can't seem to get off. without scratching up the paint.How do you get grey masking tape off your walls after taking the plastic down?
Are you sure it was Gray MASKING TAPE? I use a lot of masking tape, preferable the Blue Painters variety and on occasion the regular masking tape (beige in color) but the only GRAY tape I have seen is 'DUCT TAPE'. Duct Tape has a totally different adhesive to it and does not come off painted walls easily. Try acetone.How do you get grey masking tape off your walls after taking the plastic down?
try a citrus cleaner goo gone usually works well

the answer next to this one is about right use acetone or if you have nail polish remover thats in there use cotton ball or wash rag don't mater but you may have to repaint that area ice will work to put who wants to hold it on the glue I don't Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
