How should i make a paper mache mask?

i am making a paper mache mask for a reading project. It is supposed to be a mask like those from a greek drama play. Also, how long will it take? How should i make a paper mache mask?
I would give it 3 days to dry good. The easiest way to do it is to blow up a balloon and cut medium sized strips of newspaper then cut them in half so they are not too long. Next dip them in a bowl of starch. You can find this at the market. go strip by strip. Do one side of the balloon at a time continue layering the paper until you can not see the balloon. try to wipe off a bit of the starch so it is not so wet/thick or it will take forever to dry. Let dry over night. Do the other side the following day. Let dry over night. Next stick a pin into the balloon and cut the balloon in half with a sharp blade or knife. Now you have two just in case. With a hole puncher make the small holes on the sides and place the string through. Cut out the eye holes and paint or decorate as you like.

Have fun :) and good luck on the project get an A.
