How can i remove masking tape from an acid stained concrete floor? tried goo gone.?
masking tape was used to hold down paper to protect the floor while construction was finished. the residue is literally baked on. goo gone and charcoal lighter fluid did not even soften it.
i am a concrete contractor who is clueless what to try next without damaging the floor.

I had acid-stained concrete floors in my last home - they were awesome! But, my 3- or 4-yr. old son thought that he would repair the surface cracks in the foundation with blue masking tape. We thought it was cute, until we pulled the tape up and had marks on the floor in the shape of the tape.
I, too, thought that this was adhesive residue. It even felt like some residue left over. And I tried goo-gone and some other adhesive removal solutions. Then I got down on the floor for a really, really close look, and realized that what had happened was that the tape actually pulled up little, tiny divits of concrete. So, I was seeing plain concrete show up through the stain, just in little dots, like a pointillism!
What I finally did that worked at least short-term was to use a wood-stain pen - the kind you use to spot-treat scratches in wood furniture - and colored over the spots. The concrete accepted the color,at least for a little while, and the color stain I used was a good match. It was not perfect, but it was far less noticeable than those marks.
If you are a contractor, and have access to the stain color used, maybe try spot-treating it with the stain again. The cement should react to the acid just like it did during the original stain job.

It worked for me when removing old colored tape on my RV.
Maybe Acetone,
Make sure it dosen't discolor stained concrete floor.
You could try a benz0matic torch to burn the glue and then use a stiff brush. Just don't use so much heat in one spot to pop the cement. You can also try pavement sealer remover
( a blacktop product) I have removed blacktop sealer from new concrete with a sealer remover and a wire wheel on the end of a small hand grinder. It worked great.
Don't ya hate it when these things happen? You might try laying down water saturated cloths and rehydrating the tape so it will break down and loosen the dried adhesives. Cover the cloths with plastic sheeting or something to prevent evaporation. It is cheap, harmless and with patience might well work.

I work late and sleep late. My bedroom is very bright. I wear a sleep mask that is padded and has a velcro closure in back. Don't think the sleep mask is the cause of the fine lines. I use a product called Extreme Eye Rescue made specifically for this. It has helped me and my mother greatly. I hope this helps.

eggs (or just egg whites or egg yolks) (And yes it's a little bit gross putting eggs on you face)

Another one you could try is:
Plain yogurt, brown sugar %26amp; vanilla extract.
It makes a light scrub that's smells really nice
You can use granulated white sugar too. It's just rougher.
And you don't have to use vanilla in it either, it's just to scent.

A lot of home remedies do work but take time if you want results fast I would recommend Proactive Solution it is 100% proven to work can be pricey but if its causing you to not feel good about yourself %26amp; causing stress in your life money should not be an issue. If money is an issue then I recommend these home remedies.
Grind nutmeg with unboiled milk and apply on affected area. This works as a magic. Pimples should disappear without leaving a mark.
Make a paste by mixing 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. Repeat for two weeks, pimples will disappear forever.
Apply a mixture of 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder.
Make orange peel paste by grinding it in some water. Apply on and around pimples.
Rub fresh garlic on and around pimples. Pimples will disappear without a mark with regular applications.
Mix 1 tablespoon groundnut oil with 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice to prevent formation of blackheads and pimples .
Apply fresh mint juice over the face every night for the treatment of pimples, insect stings, eczema, scabies, %26amp; other skin infections.

Anyone know of any weird spices or something that can help numb your pain if you get an injury during a competition? I run track races but sometimes they can be a little rough, so any ideas?Any advice on masking pain or injuries during a competition?
Sorry, there are no quick fixes for track injuries and if you're injured and push it then you risk having to remove yourself from the track team permanantly. You need to get yourself on a pre-running plan to minimize stress on the muscles, ligaments and joints and if you do injure yourself then treating the injury is essential for long-term health and that unfortunately means rest.

I used proactive about a year ago, the cleanser and toner and lotion are three steps that you do everyday repeadietly, the refining mask (like any sort of clay mask/mud mask etc.) is meant to be used around two or three days a week during the day, as in not directly after the use of the cleanser or toner. It is used to clear your pores more and to help take away black heads. It is more of an addition to the proactive routine. Just rememeber to not use the refining mask more than three days a week or your face will start to dry out... you may want to use a face moisturizer to prevent this from happening. When i used proactive it didnt completely clear up my face so i went to my dermatologists and started taking pills to help.

It won't hurt the metal, but it will be annoying to the jewelry repairman to have to clean off the sticky residue that's left behind. It could also be hard to get the tape off if you've had it on for a while. I suggest using either yarn or going to wal mart and getting snuggies. Your jeweler may also have temporary sizers that should only cost a few dollars.

This will definitely keep the fictional dog from locating anything but a sneeze or two, and, while painful, will not harm the dog in the long term. It is, of course, not a way to make the police very happy with you.
