How can i remove masking tape from an acid stained concrete floor? tried goo gone.?

masking tape was used to hold down paper to protect the floor while construction was finished. the residue is literally baked on. goo gone and charcoal lighter fluid did not even soften it.

i am a concrete contractor who is clueless what to try next without damaging the floor.

my material supplier had no more suggestions either. How can i remove masking tape from an acid stained concrete floor? tried goo gone.?
The auto parts stores will have this..it is Decal and Sticker remover..made by 3M.. I have used it for several projects and it hasn't let me down yet.How can i remove masking tape from an acid stained concrete floor? tried goo gone.?
Good old fashion rubbing alcohol will work just fine. It may take several applications. Vegetable cooking oil will work as well but you must leave it in place for a long time to soften the glue. I don't know what an acid stained concrete floor is so you might want to try this in a small area first.
Easy,Use Lighter fluid, the kind you use in a zippo. W-D 40 would be my second choice both of these products will breakdown the adhesive.Spray or wipe on give it time to work and walla its off. Respray or wipe second time to remove any residual adhesive.
