Masking the smell rarely works with a GOOD drug dog, however, if I were trying to keep the purely fictional drug dog from locating my stash and/or wares (also purely fictional), I think I would sprinkle Cayenne Pepper in my carpets and around all my doors. This will definitely keep the fictional dog from locating anything but a sneeze or two, and, while painful, will not harm the dog in the long term. It is, of course, not a way to make the police very happy with you.

No, a dog's sense of smell is 4,000 times stronger than ours, so even if you think you've masked it, to them, you've only added another smell.
no, there is nothing, they are trained to detect minute traces of it on your skin and clothing and in the other goods packed around your stash. It is impossible to remove every single trace or molecule of your contraband. They will find it. Sorry buddy, you gonna have to go without! :p
there are many opinions on that one. some say seal it in wax, pack it in coffee. the thing is-when a dog smells something--let's say beef stew, the dog doesn't smell just beef stew like humans do. the dog smells: beef, carrots, potatoes, salt, pepper, onions. see the problem?
No. Part of what makes a dog's sense of smell so sophisticated is its ability to smell multiple layers of chemicals. Dogs don't detect a single chemical but a combination of them.

I just put a dead body in a bag with the drugs. The dogs never find the drugs. They are too interested in the body.

Cover it with a VERY strong chemical like bleach or chlorine. The dog won't know what it is but he won't like it.
