types of Jihad - not a translation of the media's definition:





Jihad against self:


a. Striving to learn the teachings of Islam without which one cannot attain success and happiness in this world or in the Hereafter


b. Striving to make oneself act in accordance with what one has learned. Simply knowing without acting, even though it may not cause any harm, is not going to bring any benefit.


c. Striving to teach those who do not know about it.


d. Striving to bear patiently the difficulties and bearing all that for the sake of Allah.





Jihad against Shaytan


a. Warding off the doubts that Shaytan stirs up to undermine faith.


b. Striving against Shaytan to ward off the corrupt desires that he provokes.





Jihad against the hypocrites is of four kinds: with the heart, the tongue, one鈥檚 wealth and oneself.





Jihad against the leaders of oppression and innovation is of three kinds: jihad with one's hand (i.e., physical jihad, fighting) if one is able. If that is not possible, then it should be with one's tongue (i.e., by speaking out). If that is not possible, then it should be with one's heart





Physical jihad becomes obligatory when the Muslim is present in a jihad situation. When a transgressor has come and attacked a Muslim land for no reason and for defending the helpless or weak.

Nowadays, the gap is big, but on the age of prophet Mohammed, there was no gap between rich and poor in Jihad.


If muslims nowadays are not good, don't blame Islam itself.
Jihad has nothing to do with Charity; and the reason why the poor in the Gaza Strip can't receive any aid is because they're under siege by Israel.
I don't think you have a clear understanding of the word jihad
The jihad doesn't have to do with charity...charity is one of the 5 Pillars. please read up on it some more.
