What do you call those mask things which go over your nose and mouth to protect against fumes/dust ?

I'm having a memory malfunction and have forgotten what they are called. White little mask things. Protect you from inhaling bad particles. They have a name I think which I need to find them on ebay.

I need to buy one/some from ebay for when I start cleaning up my car engine bay and using sprays ect cleaning inside car.

Thanks. What do you call those mask things which go over your nose and mouth to protect against fumes/dust ?

i have a mask where you change the filters

they are called dust masks you may ask why

walls to make a Chanel for the cables to go

Dust Marks.

A mask thing!
dirt bags!!!!
Defo dust mask matey
A ';dust mask'; is only any good for larger dust particles. If you are using harmful chemicals, paints or producing fine dusts you require a respirator fitted with the correct filter canisters designed for the specific use.

If you worked in industry you would receive training in fitting and wearing of a respirator whereas if only a dust mask any DIY will sell them to you fairly cheaply.

I know the really good quality masks are by 3M call N95 (or 93, can't remember my self)

I think they can be used for industrial purposes and to even prevent the spread of SARS
Respirators are the full mask. I would use those when dealing with strong chemicals. They are made by 3M. If you are just worried about dust you can use a dust mask, which can be found at any hardware store.
They are called particle masks and are available in any tool/diy store for a couple of quid.
