I doubt the light weight increase will make any difference, but does it mess with aerodynamics, being on the front and made of a different material? I'm a junkie for getting the best mileage possible.Does a nose mask on your car decrease gas milage?
I would bet for increasing, messes up aerodynamics at the front. If they were so good, the car manufacturers would sell the cars with these masks:)
