Are homemade face masks worth the effort?

im hosting a sleepover and im going to do a mini spa where we do our nails and such but i was wondering about the facial masks.Are they really worth the effort to make? Or am i better off with one from the body shop? if you think there better hand made, please add a link

Target has some cool st.ivles or whatever that brand is called asks that I find work. Hannaford has the mud mask type ones.Are homemade face masks worth the effort?
